Places to Visit
Tarangire national park, Lake Manyara national park, Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we’ll set off on our safari adventure. Our journey takes us to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its stunning views and diverse habitats. You’ll experience acacia woodlands, lush water forests, baobab-studded cliffs, algae-covered hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This variety of environments supports a rich array of wildlife and bird species. Lake Manyara is famous for having the highest concentration of baboons in the world and for its unique tree-climbing lions.
Our accommodations for the night will be at the Panorama Campsite.
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to experience its rich wildlife. Thanks to its year-round water supply and abundant vegetation, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a diverse array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and massive African elephants. One of the park’s major attractions is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can be challenging to spot.
During your visit, you’ll explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern part of the crater. This area is known for its impressive number of flamingos, hippos, and various water birds. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the Panorama Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll set off on our tour and head to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Each year, the park becomes the focal point of a major migratory cycle, attracting up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. After our adventure in the park, we’ll drive back to Arusha.
