Mount Meru Waterfall is located within the Meru Conservation Area, just above Themi Leisure Park. To reach the waterfall, you will take a boda-boda (motorbike) up a rugged, muddy hill, as a tuk-tuk won’t make it up the challenging terrain. The entrance is situated about one kilometre beyond Themi Leisure Park.
The location for the top of Waterfall Road is marked below.
After entering the Meru Conservation Area, you’ll encounter a ticketing office where you’ll pay the entrance fee of $12 USD per person.
Hiring a guide is mandatory in this area, and their assistance is invaluable. The trail is not well-marked, and it’s not available on most maps, including maps.me. Guides are skilled at navigating the path, offering tips for overcoming rocky sections, boulders, and steep inclines. Of course, we will arrange and provide you with a guide who is knowledgeable and experienced in the area.
